Great location and affordable price! the room was cozy and had a comfortable mattress. I loved the little decorations and the table with cushions, giving it a homely feel. Plus, having a lamp instead of a blaring overhead light was a nice touch. the guesthouse is also conveniently located near the best coffee shops and restaurants in town. And let's not forget the cleanliness! the bathrooms and toilets were well-maintained and spotless.
There were a few minor downsides. the fan in the room was quite dusty, and when I turned it on, it blew dust around.

I recently stayed at Chok Dee in Chiang Mai for a couple of nights. The location was amazing, right in the heart of the city. Despite staying in a cozy single room with just a mattress on the floor, it was surprisingly comfortable. The room had a homely touch with cute decorations and a little table with cushions for seating. And the best part was the lamp, providing a cozy atmosphere without the need for harsh overhead lighting. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. Plus, the room had two unexpected guests, geckos named Jimmy and Hendricks!
Do recommend this hotel.

The value for money was insane! Having my own room at such an affordable price was mind-blowing. The location was perfect, surrounded by the best coffee bars in the old town. The mattress was surprisingly comfortable, and the room felt cozy with its decorations and cushioned seating. The presence of a lamp instead of harsh overhead lights was a delightful surprise. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were kept clean. Even though we had two geckos visiting , it added to the charm of the place. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and the weekend night market was within easy walking distance. Laundry service was available at a reasonable price, and the staff was incredibly helpful. All in all, my stay at Chok Dee Guesthouse exceeded all expectations.

I had such high hopes for this place seeing all the good reviews. The room itself was fine but only had one plug, which included the fan so with two of us, if we had to charge our phone, we had to turn the fan off and get very hot. Felt like the older lady didn't like us and was rude. We didn't know why. Cats crying through the night below our room because they're caged up, 2 cats in a small cage, was so sad.

The location was amazing - right in the heart of the action! The single room was surprisingly cozy with adorable decorations and a comfy mattress on the floor. And thank goodness for the lamp instead of a blaring overhead light! Great value for money with clean bathrooms, although in "Thai style". Loved chilling on the terrace, despite the mosquitoes, and there's an excellent restaurant nearby. Super basic but perfect for budget travelers.

Helpful staff, cheap transfers, and good location for night markets. Clean rooms and Thai-style bathrooms. Mosquitoes on the terrace, bring bug spray. Nearby restaurants and easy walk to the weekend night market. Laundry available for 30B. Spacious, comfortable private room with towels provided. Cute location in the Old City. Simple and affordable.
